Irvine Nature Center
Maria and I are attending a conference on teaching children about Judaism and nature. On Thursday morning, we took a van to the Irvine Nature Center. One of the most outstanding outdoor preschool classrooms is located at the center. These photos depict the art center in the classroom. The easels were wooden and children used chalk on the easels. In the center, there was a box that housed all of the art that was completed each day. In the trees that bordered the art center were colorfully painted recycled bottles that were snipped and attached to branches which made a beautiful display!
