We've been exploring color in the Adamah classroom. The children are learning how to use new tools (eye droppers on coffee filters) while exploring what happens when colors blend and mix. The children have palettes of paint in front of them with liquid watercolors in the three primary colors. We ask them, what do you see when you mix red and yellow? Or yellow and blue? They are also practicing their fine motor skills with the eye droppers, either letting one drop of color onto the coffee filter at a time, or by emptying the whole dropper into the filter at once! Which method do you think your child prefers?
