Lofty rules

Even though we've been in school for a few weeks, we are still having the opportunity to learn how to use certain items in our classroom, and we include the children in designing rules that make sense and that make us feel safe. 

Today, we talked about the loft, one of the favorite classroom spaces.  We determined as a group that we could have four people on top, and four underneath, and still feel safe.  Lauri ran a demonstration, and we counted as four children climbed safely and stood on on the loft.
