More Nature Art!

Noticing the children's interests in creating art from Nature, we borrowed some photos of Andy Goldsworthy's work from Betty. We attached the photos to the fence outside to see if the children would notice and feel inspired.

Emme was very interested by a photo of vibrant red leaves arranged in a circle. She began collecting only red leaves. Jolie, Charlotte, Molly, and Grayden noticed Emme's mission and asked to join. As they were collecting leaves, Molly asked, "How do they (leaves) change color?" Grayden chimed in, "I have an idea. Maybe the sun shines on them!"

Together the children gathered many leaves and then sat down in front of the inspiring photo. They formed a circle of red leaves. They then decided to add green and yellow leaves to their creation. Nature is full of so much beauty and inspiration. You might want to collect some leaves with your family and create some of your own Nature Art!
