Getting dressed

One of the advantages of summer at TBSCC is the opportunity for daily practice with getting dressed. "Get me dressed!" said Zachary after a wet morning on the waterslide. "You can do it!" I said together, we laid out Zachary's clothes- shorts, shirt, and underwear. "First I do this, then this, then this," Zachary reviewed. He knew just what to do. "I can't do it!" he said. "You can do it! Just start and I'll watch you," I promised. Zachary pulled off his wet clothes- not an easy task- and then moved step by step through putting on his dry clothes. "I did it!" he proudly said. Rohan joined him for the final stage, shoes and socks. That was a little harder, as putting socks on damp feet tends to be, but he figured out. Way to go Zachary!
