Water Wall Report!

The water wall is a big hit! The children were playing and building the wall all morning long! We drilled more holes into empty bottles/cups, added tubes, funnels and colored waters!

At first when we attached the tubes and the funnels the water "got stuck" in the clear tube. We ask the children, "How can we get the water to move around and out of the tube into the bucket below?" Their goal was to fill the bucket up with the colored water! Nathan said, "Let's move the tube up so the water can come down and out into the bucket." After we moved the tubing around a bit we tried again. The water still would not come down and around the tube into the bucket. Olive suggested," Add a lot more water and then the water will come out." That is exactly what we did! The children poured water into the funnel with basters and bottles! Finally they had success!

The children were determined to reach their goal and filled that blue bucket up with the colored water, all the way to the top! It took a long time, but they did it!
