Rainy day fun in the community room

 We are very fortunate to have an indoor play space on rainy spring days when the children have a lot of energy and need to run around. Today Matt was practicing his balance skills by walking on these plastic half spheres. Jesse, Sam, Oliver, Joshua, and Teddy Post had fun with the "scooters," making a train that they could ride around the room. The materials in the room lent themselves to many different uses and therefore encouraged the children's creativity. Sam loved putting the expandable "tunnel"over his body and experiencing the surprise sensation that came when it sprang open. As much fun as we had, let's hope for some more sunny days before the end of the year.
