We have a new chore in the summer, filling everything with water. The pools, the water table, and the water coolers all need to be filled with water each morning and afternoon. The children discovered the hose that lives up the hill and all wanted to help with the filling process. Today Jonathan and Nathaniel got a turn to help me. "You can have a turn tomorrow," I told Jake. "You have to promise me!" he replied. Knowing how many things I have to remember, I suggested he make a list to help me. Cries of "I want a turn, too!" filled the air. Names were signed and the list stands ready and waiting for the next round of water filling tomorrow.
