Bon Voyage

We have been eagerly anticipating our trip to Israel, but there was much planning to do. We showed the boys and girls a map of the world and where we were situated in relation to Israel. What did they notice about the map? Based on this knowledge, how did they think we could travel to Israel and what did we need?

In looking at the map they noticed there was a lot of blue and they knew it meant that meant water. So some boys and girls thought "we could take a boat to Israel, take an airplane first then when we get 1/2 way there then we can take a boat, a helicopter, and a motor boat." Then what would we need to bring with us?

We need snack on the airplane, favorite dollies, a Hebrew translator, and stuffed animals. One very kind friend offered to share all the things he brought in his backpack. We decided we would take an airplane.

Rohan, our Hebrew translator, stepped right in to offer her help. She took out her telephone and showed us a picture of a possible plane we might embark on. Then we were off to construct our plane.
