Playdough In A Bottle
What started out as playdough with small creatures turned into playdough in bottles with creatures. One of the children brought an empty bottle that they found in the sensory table over to the playdough table and started filling it up with green playdough. The other children at the table immediately each wanted their own bottle and thus the fun began. As the children soon discovered, it is not an easy task to fit playdough into a small opening. But they were persistent, and using their small muscles, they worked and worked at getting the bottles full. Some of the children wanted to use their fingers to get it in, while others used knives and spoons. Some of the children even filled up cups of playdough and then transferred the playdough from the cups into the bottles. The green playdough then became all kinds of interesting drinks and food. Ask your children what kinds of food and drink they came up with? We definitely had some interesting concoctions!
