I don't know what it is about the Haifa air, but it seems like the Haifa class always has puzzlers in it!! Sauci and I have been putting out puzzles as an option for choice time over the last week, and the puzzles are always a choice that is picked.
We had been putting out big piece floor puzzles so that we could all work together, but yesterday Nathan asked me at the beginning of choice time if we could work on a Spongebob puzzle. Last year we purchased some smaller piece, bigger number piece puzzles, and some of them were still on the shelf. The Spongebob puzzle that we have is not only a 100 piece small piece puzzle, but the picture also changes! So on top of being the hardest puzzle we have attempted this year, we were really putting together two puzzles at once! We finished most of the puzzle yesterday, but we were able to save it to finish today. Above, Nathan and Sam G. are putting the finishing touches on this complicated puzzle. I was very impressed by the dedication and patience of all of the students that helped put the puzzle together!
