What should we cook Today?

Boys and girls were very busy being chefs on their short visit to their new classroom today.
Some items we had to cook on the stove and others we did not~ We cooked macaroni, pancakes, and ate some cheese, and made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. In case you are interested in the recipes for these culinary delights here they are:

Macaroni and Cheese~ Chef Joshua Van Dam
" Cheese and a little sauce, eggs, noodles, and that's it."

Pancakes ~ Chef Jesse Barnet
" I used butter, 1 cup of oil, a little salt, and flour" ( " I'm making it sweet")

Pancakes ~ Chef Teddy Post
" Flour, like a cup, and you cook it in the microwave, or anywhere.

Chef ~ Mia Markley
"Cheese, and peanut butter and jelly".

History of MY name~ I wonder??

Thank you to all the parents who were able to come to Back to School Night. We are looking forward to a wonderful, fun-filled year!!!
Thank you, as well, for providing us and your children with the history or origin of their names. As one can see, your children were excited to see their pictures on the board and learn about why you chose their names.
After we have had a chance to read them in class, it will become our first class book and kept in school to be enjoyed.
We may have two Joshua(s) and three Teddy(s) but the origin of their names are very different.
Looking forward to the discussions that these will generate amongst your children.

A Project for the Rainbow Parents

The parents of the Rainbow class worked hard at describing their hopes and dreams for the future of their children, and naming some of the qualities that they hope to see in them as they grow. It was great to meet the parents and have a chance to discuss our goals for the first weeks at school. We're all looking forward to welcoming the children for orientation tomorrow morning.
