Creative Movement with Nancy!

The children had the opportunity to act out the life cycle of a butterfly! We placed our hoop on the ground, went into our cocoon,one wing popped out, then the other, and we all turned into beautiful butterfies! The children flew,ran and moved all around the room!

The children walked across the balance beam enjoyed a few forward rolls, jumped, hopped, galloped ,and danced with Nancy! 

Stretching and Dancing with Nancy

First Nancy walked us through a  fun and challenging stretching routine.  Then we rolled, hopped, galloped, twirled, leaped and danced all around the big Community Room!

Moving and grooving with Nancy just gets better and better!

The Tel Aviv class has SO MUCH FUN dancing with Nancy on Tuesday! We jumped and flew across the room and had a chance to jump with our friends and teachers in small groups!

 So much laughter and joy!

Movement with Dancing Nancy

 The children had so much fun waving the colored scarves in our Movement with Nancy class. She shows us how to warm-up our bodies with stretches and bends. We make a circle holding hands and take steps into the circle and out again. We move to music and with their imaginations the children become the leaves. Just like falling leaves, the scarves blew around and fell to the ground. Gross motor excercises under adult supervision allow children the opportunity to use their bodies in a controlled purposeful way.
