Matzah Balls
Ellen asked us to decorate matzah balls for the upcoming Matzah Ball Soup Off. We decided to use stickers to begin this process. The Rainbows worked very hard to peel the stickers off of the sticker sheets, which was not an easy task. Some of the stickers were definitely easier to peel off than others. Everyone tried very hard on their own and then asked for help when needed. Molly demonstrated "See, you hold your thumb up like this" on how to hold the sticker sheet and peel off the stickers. From looks of intense concentration to laughter, a great time was had by all!

stickey stickers
When we first introduced stickers back in September, I can still remember watching the Sunshine children struggle trying to remove them (first from the paper and then from their fingers). They asked for lots of help and I remember Lizzie's enormous smile the first time she removed and placed a sticker all by herself. My oh my how far we've come!! Today, we decorated our challah bags with stickers. Not only could all of the sunshine children do it, but they did it with ease, confidence and joy! They chatted as they arranged their stickers and created some beautiful bags!! Way to go Sunshine!!
