Sam and Isaac met some new friends today. I helped them catch an ant and an inch worm in their bug finder. They spent a long time observing the little creatures.We talked about how gentle we need to be with insects, so we don't accidentally hurt them. I asked the boys, "Do you think the insects have families of their own?" Isaac just laughed, and Sam replied "They have a mommy, a daddy, sisters and brothers." I then said to the boys "People and insects have a lot in common because we have families too!"
I'm willing to bet that after finding two creatures they will be looking for more in the coming days.
