At the Sensory Table

Posted by PicasaMeasuring, pouring, washing, sorting, scrubbing. There is a great  variety of materials you'll find in our sensory table. There may be colored macaroni, slime, play dough, beans, or bubbly water to wash animals, people or fruit.  With each new tactile experience, the children learn something about themselves and the world around them.. Working at the sensory table involves body awareness, social skill development using language and sharing the materials and the space.
