Inch by inch ...

Boys and girls have been exploring the outdoors and have discovered some inch worms crawling around. Since the very beginning of this school year the Kohavim children have been caretakers of G-d 's creatures. You may recall the slugs in the sandbox, the caterpillars in the corn husks we brought, and how the built habitats for them in the classroom. Max Goldberg was collecting some leaves, and then looked at the size of the inch worms and decided the leaves were a bit tooo big for them to consume. He carefully made some "little" leaves for his family of worms. Molly and Jacob wanted their own habitat and gathered some lettuce for consumption. Some children just wanted to watch and observe these critters in the lettuce habitat. Now we have a family of inch worms who have been carefully transported to our lettuce plants. We do take care if ourselves, or environment.
