Respect all living things!

In honor of Tikkun Olam Day we have had many discussions about how we can take care of our world? The children came up with some great ideas! No matter how big or how small we need to respect all living creatures and things... Put the garbage in the trash where it belongs, plant lots of trees, fruits , vegetables and last but not least recycle at home and at school too!
Exploring with insects and reading a variety of books about living creaters in our world have really made us all aware of how we can take care of our world.!

A labor of love

It was very heartening to see Mattie and Sam working hard to repair our sukkah which had ripped. Sometimes active children have accidents, and today was one of those days. What better way to cleanse the soul and make ammends than to fix what accidentally broke. Our sukkah has had a lot of meaning to us all, and it was clear that the children felt passionately about repairing it. We have held many activities within its confines, and at times things get tight. Building it and now taking care of it has been a labor of love.
