Arcitecture 101

We brought out the magnatiles today!!  One of the Tel Aviv children had actually started a very ornate castle for us with turets and many towers.  When Aleeza arrived, she got right down to business.  She said she was making a house and I watched as she completed her first level and then moved on to level #2...which had an open floor plan and NO roof...how cool!

Just when I thought she was done, she went over to our bin of small plastic people, took out a woman and brought her back to her creation.  She began quietly playing house with her new home and doll.  Our doll house was about 5 feet from her and much larger and more ellaborate.  However, she had such pride and took complete ownership of her self-made house and I enjoyed watching her use it!!
