Shabbat comes on Thursdays for the Levana Class

Some of our Levana classmates aren't at school on Fridays when we celebrate Shabbat, so we have begun to observe the holiday on Thursdays, as well.
After putting all the ingredients into the breadmaker, we watched as it was mixed into a ball of dough. We rolled the dough into snake-like lengths and then braided the challah before baking.
We spread some honey on the challah to sweeten it. Julia blessed the challah and we all enjoyed a lovely Shabbat outside at the picnic table on this sunny, warm day. Shabbat Shalom to everyone.
