Working on our Tu B'shevat tree!

Today the children decorated leaves that we will eventually hang on our classroom tree. Last week, in the "our own tu B'shevat tree" blog, we introduced the project started by the Levana class of constructing a tree.
Our Levana friends tore and glued hues of green tissue paper to the leaf shape cut-outs. They also practiced using scissors as they cut pieces of construction paper to glue onto the leaves as well. This tree is a work in progress and the children are having a blast!
