I Can Make A Match!

This week we made brand new clean up necklaces but before that we realized that we could use the cards as a Tel Aviv Matching/Memory game!! We laid out the cards and we had six different pairs of different locations in the room. it was fun to match  and play a game with the special places we have in the class. Memory is a great skill for developing spacial awareness and it engages young children to pay attention to every child's turn in the hope that maybe they will give you infomation that will enable you to get a match. Everyone was deep in concentration and it was great to see how excited they got when they got a pair! It was so much fun that we are hoping to make another set of memory cards in the upcoming week!

  1. What a great way to use the new materials! Adam was very excited about the new necklaces, though he lamented the fact that he was STILL rug helper. :) I love Memory with older kids too because it's a great way to teach memory strategies and figuring out what works for each person.
