Expert Dog Lucie comes to visit ...

The Kohavim class has been busy trying to decide what would be the perfect pet to have in the Kohavim class. The penquin was definitely ruled out as we did not live in Antartica, we could not keep our environment cold enough, and we just did not have space. The next pet up for consideration was the beloved dog. We learned that we could call upon our expert on dogs, Rabbi Lenke. She came in with her dog Lucie. Lucie was an enthusiastic participant in morning meeting and eager to show off her skills. You might want to ask your children what special tricks Lucie did ( hint it involved a piece of jewelry) She especially loved to give kisses too. Though Lucie was a great house pet, she was not the right pet for the classroom. You might want to ask your children how they determined this. We are still investigating the many possibilities.
