The Haifa class spent this rainy Wednesday morning working together and cooperating on many different projects. First thing this morning, the boys were trying to see how tall of a magna tile building they could build before it fell over. They determined that it was almost as tall as Zack and Leo. In the picture below, you can see the boys working together to measure one another while carefully keeping the building intact.
Later in the morning, some of our boys migrated over to the Science and Games center, and got to work on another task. Some of the boys had already started working on a train that was going to stop at Needham Junction. After the second group of boys came over, they decided that the train was stopping at Needham Junction so that they could get ice cream, and build the ice cream store!
Watching the students work well together is such a treat. While they have their core friend groups, it is great to see them branching out and adding to one anothers' ideas. With all of their imaginative ideas, they are coming up with even more inventive ideas for play.

We had a very fun rainy day. It is fascinating to see how creative the cildren are when we have longer free choice times.
