Olive loves to express herself through her artwork and often can be found working on a drawing or a painting. Last week she asked if she might borrow a camera to take some photogaphs. Olive started in our classroom, taking shots of friends and then made her way to the hallway and into Ellen's office. Needless to say, this became a favorite choice for many of our friends. Thanks for the inspiration, Olive!
What struck me about Olive's approach to photography is the intentionality with which she approached the task. She studied the environment carefully, seeming to consider what photos to take, and then when she found the right think, snapped away. I can't wait to see how this develops.
