Continuing with our study of snow, the Haifa class did everything it could to find snow in everyday activities in the classroom. At the art center, we moved all of the chairs away from the art table and simply put down blobs of shaving cream. Most children went home in different clothes than then arrived to school in because they were very into the shaving cream and we got it everywhere!!
At science and games, we worked on our fine motor skill to chop up potatoes nice and small so that we could make them into mashed potatoes at snack! As you see Madison and Aleeza above, each child who helped was very focused on the task at hand, and the mashed potatoes were very well received!!
