The Snowy Day

Today at lunch bunch the children enjoyed listening to the story The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. After reading the story the children tried to "walk with their toes pointing out, like this" and then tried to "walk with their toes pointing in, like that. "  Then we each got white foam (to pretend was snow) with silver sparkles and made our second and third fingers into our legs. By walking our fingers along on the table, we could make our foot (finger) print in the foam (pretended snow). Some of us also made a snowman which was a lot of fun to make!
