The Kohavim children have been learning about the primary colors and experimenting with mixing colors in their own color palettes. We noticed how we could make different shades of green, purple and orange by mixing our colors. Emme made a beautiful turquoise color and Elias made a cool shade of green. Some children folded their paper in half to create symmetrical designs.
Each child was responsible for cleaning their palette in the sink to get it ready for the next classmate. When choice time was over, we discovered a problem. We realized that we had made a huge mess in the downstairs hall. There were drops of paint all over the floor! Together everyone pitched in and helped clean up the drops of paint until the floor was sparkly and clean. Great teamwork Kohavim!
