Gak


On Monday, we made Gak during extended day. Josie, Noah, Evan, and Julian followed a recipe. Gak is a mixture of glue, borax soap, and water. We couldn't wait to play with the gak and let our friends in Kohavim and Kindergarten Enrichment feel the gak too! We noticed the gak felt wet, cold, and gooey. We stretched, rolled and squeezed the gak in our hands. If you would like to make gak at home with your child, please see the recipe below: 

Gak Recipe 
Solution A:1 1/2 cups warm water 
2 cups Elmer’s white glue
Food coloring (optional) 
Mix together until completely dissolved .
Solution B:4 teaspoons borax soap
1 1/3 cups warm water 
Mix together until completely dissolved.
Pour solution A into Solution B. Do not mix!Lift gak out and knead into shape.
