Time to Harvest

As we head into Fall we take a minute to savor the treasures of summer. Today we did a taste test sampling three different colored carrots from the farmers market. We used big, juicy words to describe the colors. They look like "sunshine, fire blaze, sunset, fire truck, flowers.". description of the tastes were more to the point with "yummy, delicious, and yucky" being the favorites. We charted our responses, and it turns out traditional orange is our favorite carrot with red/orange a close second.
