Having a plan

"I'm staying for lunch bunch" Brett announced as he walked in the room on Wednesday. He had Nana in one hand and his Lunch Bunch book in the other. Some of the children in our class stay for lunch and others go home. Brett and I made a book about the days when he stays for lunch bunch. It shows all of the steps in his day...from drop off to mommy's arrival at pick up. Brett is able to open his Lunch Bunch book and, with the help of a teacher or maybe a friend, figure out where he is in his day and know what event is coming next. Brett enjoys reading his Lunch Bunch book and the other children love hearing the story of his day, too!!
