Nathaniel was very excited to introduce Jonathan to his classmates. Jonathan is in kindergarten this year at Newman. He read us a story
Stuart Little at the Library. One would think going to the library would be a quiet restful time. Not the case in this adventure, Stuart goes to the library where he meets Bookworm, the Cat who wants to have Stuart as his next meal. Stuart has to think very quickly to find ways to keep Bookworm happy and himself safe. You may want to ask your children what clever ideas Stuart came up with. In addition to reading this wonderful story, Jonathan entertained us with a card trick. He asked Teddy Fox to select a card. Jonathan carefully placed the cards down in rows 2 x, carefully picking them up each time while inquiring which row the care was in. We asked Jonathan to tell us his secret, but he would not. A true magician never does. We are still wondering.
