fine motor practice

Preschoolers require lots of time to run, jump and use their whole bodies to move and wiggle.  Gross motor play is crucial to the development of children.  However, as we move through the year, the same attention to fine motor skills is quite important.  We want our children to have opportunities to use their hands and manipulate different objects on a smaller scale - like cutting, banging, pulling, coloring, and using utensils.  The Shamayim children enjoyed a variety of fine motor activities on Friday.  We used scissors and tape,





pliers, hammers and "nails",
