Today, the children continued to glue different colored paper and foam shapes onto the poster boards. We practiced squeezing glue onto the poster board, then putting the shapes and paper on top. Some students chose to put glue directly on the small pieces of paper, turn them over, and stick them to the poster.
Today, we also gave the children a choice: they can either sit to do their gluing on one side of the table or they can stand on the other side.
The children learn to do the same art project in a variety of ways, and we work on both gross motor and fine motor skill building at the same time.
Stay tuned to the blog as we continue to work on these collages. You'll see different materials appear on the collage, as the same poster changes everyday!
