Cooking For Rosie's Place

One of our favorite activities in the Shamayim class is cooking.  Today, however, we did not cook for ourselves, instead we made a tuna casserole for a woman's shelter called Rosie's Place.  We talked at circle time how we are all lucky to have nice homes to live in with our families and that we all have lots of food to eat in our homes.  But there are other people who are not as lucky as we are to have homes and food so that is why we made a tuna casserole for them to eat.  You should all be so proud of your children for their concern and willingness to help these ladies.  We will definitely be making more tuna casseroles in the near future.
