This morning, Kohavim and Tel Aviv celebrated havdalah together and welcomed the week ahead. Max Greenstein, Zack, and Max Goldberg held the havdalah candles and Josie helped with the wine. We all smelled the fragrant cinnamon sticks. Then, Tel Aviv and Kohavim joined hands to sing and dance. And Ellen taught us a poem that we chanted as we tapped our knees:
I wish for _______ in the week to come
Shavua Tov everyone!
The children wished for challah, juice, the temple, carrots, and candles in the week to come. What a beautiful way to wish one another a good week and celebrate Havdalah together.
Adam had his carrots for dinner tonight so his wish was granted this week! :) Shavua Tov!
