The Keshet class was delighted to have Lisa and Danielle visit us this morning as we continued our Chanukah celebration. Many of the children told us about Chanukah visits and some special things that they had done with their families since we were last together. They were excited to finish and wrap the menorahs that they made last week, and to enjoy a special snack of latkes and applesauce. On each school day during Chanukah, we share the joy of lighting the candles and sharing that light, we talk about special times with family and friends, and we explore stories and songs about the Festival of Light. Today's latke treat brought us another special tradition, and they were delicious! Thank you, Lisa and Danielle.
