First Shabbat at Camp

Sophie Sherman, Sophie Ganot and Rose had an enjoyable time making their challahs today. There was plenty of rolling, twisting and braiding the dough along with shared laughs among the children. Challahs were made in the shape of spring flowers and many other creative shapes







First you light the candles.
Then you drink the wine.
Then you bless the challah and it always tastes so fine.
Adom Aleph and Adom Bet shared in the celebration of Shabbat. Rose and Grayden were our Shabbat Helpers. They did a fine job leading the group in lighting the candles, blessing the juice and challah. We always have a wonderful time when our classes get together.
