Happy Birthday Hadley

It was a busy day in the Kohavim Class. Hadley was celebrating her birthday. Mommy, aka as Tracy came in to read some of Hadley favorite books: Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Stein, and Pinkaliciously by Victoria Kann. The children enjoyed all the books. Interrupting Chicken was a book about a chicken at bed time. He had the habit daddy during reading bed time because he was so familiar with those favorite stories he knew so well: Hansel and Gretel and Red Riding Hood to name a few. At the end of the story, very surprisingly, however, the story teller ended up falling asleep. One of our classroom rituals is to have the children create a card for the birthday person and/or make a piece of jewelry. Spending time on creating these 'gifts' help us realize that we can make treasured gifts. Thank you Tracy for coming to share your time with us and Hadley for sharing mommy.
