Happy Happy Birthday DYLAN!!!

Friday was a busy day for the Kohavim class. It was our first Shabbat AND Dylan's birthday celebration. After a thoughtful process of thinking and and inquiring about some things that Dylan might like, his classmates got to work on their birthday banner for Dylan. They carefully illustrated his many delights: Ninja, Star Wars bunnies, bears (just to name a few). Dylan's mom, aka Suzanne came in to read one of Dylan's favorite books entitled Sailor Dog by Margaret Wise Brown. This is a story about "Scuppers" a dog whose only dream is to be a sailor and sail the great sea. He finally gets his wish when there is a mishap. He is shipwrecked with a big hole in his ship. What to do? The ever resourceful dog fixes his boat and continues with his voyage. What a resourceful dog! He had a problem and solved it, much like we do! Thank you, Dylan for sharing mommy and thanks Suzanne for coming in and sharing your time with the Kohavim class.
