During Friday lunch bunch in the Tel Aviv classroom, we sat together on the rug while playing the following game:
Each of us, myself included, got to choose only 5 pieces of Lego. During each person's turn, we had to add one piece at a time to a collaborative Lego structure. When we were done, I was very proud of the children for following directions, being respectful to one another, and understanding team playing and turn taking. I emphasized to the children the fact that we were able to work as a team and together we we're able to build a cool structure where each one of them could pretended it was something else.
Adam said he made a police duck...whatever you made, he loved doing it. What an amazing activity to do. I forgot how much wonderful team building and community activities Mia had done in Tel Aviv. Cool stuff!
