Team Work, Turn Taking, Respect, and Patience

Team work, turn taking, respect, and patience are the key words here!

During Friday lunch bunch in the Tel Aviv classroom, we sat together on the rug while playing the following game:

Each of us, myself included, got to choose only 5 pieces of Lego. During each person's turn, we had to add one piece at a time to a collaborative Lego structure. When we were done, I was very proud of the children for following directions, being respectful to one another, and understanding team playing and turn taking. I emphasized to the children the fact that we were able to work as a team and together we we're able to build a cool structure where each one of them could pretended it was something else.

  1. Adam said he made a police duck...whatever you made, he loved doing it. What an amazing activity to do. I forgot how much wonderful team building and community activities Mia had done in Tel Aviv. Cool stuff!
