Today was a big day in the Haifa class. The Wall that we have been working on so diligently over the last few weeks was finally dry and ready to be used!! We were able to lean the Wall up on the cabinets, and we started talking to individual children about what we would do with it now that it is upright. We talked about how when people make wishes at the Wall, it isn't necessarily about wishing for new toys or for siblings to leave us alone, but often times people wish for big things in the world. We talked about what we would want to wish for the world, and the students either wrote their notes themselves, or had a teacher write it. They then folded up the note and found a nice safe place to keep it in the Wall!!
Feel free to stop by our classroom to see this fantastic project!
