After several classes of meticulously painting wood, designing tiles, and painting styrafoam blocks, our wall is finally ready to be built! The Haifa children experimented with different amounts of wood glue to help us create our wall. Students took turns attaching the pieces that they had made earlier in the process, which helped truly make this a classroom creation. Tomorrow we may add some more pieces to the wall, but we may also begin to write letters to go in the cracks, just like the Western Wall in Jerusalem!
