Haifa style play

Today was a very fun and typical day in the Haifa class. Liz found a bag of unusually shaped wood pieces in our cabinet. Using a torn open box of matzo as the base several children worked together to create a sculpture. Step 2 was to paint the sculpture. This project gives new meaning to recycling. These kind of open ended process driven art projects are perfect for children. Look in your cabinets and see what can be turned into an art project.
