Playing in Pairs

We observe more and more dyad play in our classroom each day.  We have paired artists at the easel, and children playing "doctor" on the couches.  We dress up and play in the kitchen center.  

The children have complex and interesting conversations while involved in these different 

play schemes, and it's a pleasure to listen and observe.
