As young children develop a sense of self, we at TBS think about how to nurture their identity with Israel. How can young children come to know and love something so far away?
Given that children develop understandings in hands-on ways, Hebrew College and CJP have helped us realize an authentic connection with children in Israel.
As you can see below, children in Haifa sent us drawings of their hands, and then children from the Etzim and Levana classes made their hands as handshakes to send back.This is truly is a handshake felt 'round the world...
