During our visit to Jeresulem the Tel Aviv crew had the opportunity to build and visit one of the most holy sights in the world: the Kotel known as the Western Wall. We built the wall out of blocks and wrote notes with our wishes on them to sneak between the crack on the wall just like you do at the real western wall! We put our notes in the wall in pairs while the group watched. Some kinds choose to put on kippot and tallitot as they put notes in the wall. After the whole class was done we made a circle and sang, "torah's favorite song" the Shema!! It felt meaningful and it was a very special moment for out Tel Aviv kids.
Check out their wishes!!
