It's Delicious "Smoothies"

Lunch bunch friends decided last week that "smoothies" was on the menu for our first lunch cooking experience. Alison graciously volunteered to bring in her "magic bullet" blender to share. She assumed the "role" of teacher, explaining to her classmates the "ingredients" she brought in to make our smoothies; raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries. Then we were off and ready to start. We then read our recipe and carefully measured 1 cup of berries, 1 cup of yogurt, and 1/2 cup of apple juice. Then the real test. Was our smoothie delicious? As one can see, it passed the test.
Friends decided to "change" the recipe and not add juice because at home many do not use juice when making smoothies. Some friends thought that we might not be able to drink it then, we might have to eat it. Such a logical conclusion, since the liquid would make it thinner. So the experiment went forward, and we learned we could still drink it, and it was also delicious. We are also preparing a cook book complete with beautiful illustrations.
