The Sunshines and Rainbows enjoy reminders of home and family in their classroom, and love to view photos of themselves and their friends. The family pictures in plexi-glass frames still hang on the magnetic board, and the children can identify not only their own family members, but the parents and siblings of others. We have assembled some photos of the children from the early days of school, along with the Wishes for Our Child pages that the parents created, into a binder. The children can enjoy looking at pictures of themselves and classmates at any time during the day. Here, Ryan and Jacob share a moment looking at our classroom album.
What a great idea to put these into book form instead of just filing them away. I especially like the idea of combining them into one book so that the children can begin to meet the others who share their classroom. They will already know each other when they come the same days next year!
