As Naomi was putting her tzedakah money in our tzedakah box today she noticed how heavy the container was. So a few of us decided it may be time to count the money and actually see how much we had. The good news is we have enough money to sponsor a Thanksgiving turkey for a less fortunate jewish family through Family Table. As you can see we had several volunteers counting and sorting the coins. What a big job that was counting all the quarters. We counted up to 76 quarters and 9 one dollar bills!! The teachers thank you all for your generosity and we will continue with the children to think of other ways to use our tzedakah money.
